“National Arena” Stadium

Project Description
The project was designed by the Italian architectural studio, Archea Associated, led by world-renowned architect Marco Casamonti. The new National Stadium will be a multi-functional complex and includes a modern space for sporting events, as well as spaces for social and cultural activities. The new stadium will be a UEFA category 4 stadium, making it one of the most modern stadiums in Albania and the Balkan region.
The project is one of the largest infrastructure projects of its kind in Albania. Civil work for the project includes about 200,000 m3 of earthworks, 75,000 m3 of concrete work, 13,000 tons of ironwork and over 6,000 tons of steel structures.
The stadium will have a capacity of 22,000 seats and all spectator stands will be completely covered.
