Rehabilitation of the Water Supply System of Berat and Kuçova

Project Description

  • Supply and placement of HDPE DN 63-225mm pipes.
  • Supply and placement of DCI DN 200-400 mm cast iron pipes, including connecting fittings.
  • Supply and placement of DCI DN 700 cast iron pipes with self-anchoring type joints.
  • Supply and placement of cast iron and polyethylene fittings with electrophoresed welding, cable ties, portcullis/hydrants, metering devices, etc.

Construction Works

Customer connection including meters and corresponding DN 20-63 mm fittings.
Construction and furnishing of the administrative building of Berat-Kuçova Water Supply and Sewerage, including civil, mechanical (HVAC, fire, sanitary, etc.), and electrical works.

DN 700 cast iron pipeline placement in rugged mountainous terrain has been successfully implemented within the set deadlines. During the implementation of this project, special care and attention have been paid to the works in the historic district of Mangalem with the primary objective of preserving a significant area of our cultural heritage protected by UNESCO.
