The project:

Construction of Access Roads for the Trans Adriatic Pipeline, Albania

Design and construction of access roads 101 km

– 51 km of unpaved ballast roads

– 50 km of paved asphalted roads

The main activity of this contract is the design and construction of access roads for the construction of the TAP pipeline throughout the territory that this pipeline traverses, separated into 4 main blocks:

  1. Korça Block (Bilisht, Korça, Vithkuq)
  2. Çorovoda (Potom, Çorovodë, Therepele)
  3. Poliçan Block (Poliçan, Ura Vajgurore)
  4. Fier block (Roskovec, Fier, Seman)

One of the key elements of this contract has been the importance attached to environmental protection, the handling of material deposited from excavation processes, and the treatment of completed roads with additional elements that accelerate the area’s greenery revitalization.

Project Challenges:

A tight implementation schedule, as well as the difficulty of the mountainous terrain of Korça, Çorovodë and Poliçan areas are worth mentioning.

Throughout the works, special attention and priority was given to the technical safety during the implementation of the works while maintaining the highest international standards, as well as adherence to the company’s strict regulations according to road traffic safety standards.

Design and construction of roads in accordance with all standards of design and implementation of the Albanian state, as well as those used in the EU.
